The War Within is comprised of the three remaining members of the band CobblerCobbler and their new singer Alli and rhythm guitarist Chris Lucente. The War Within is a five piece rock band from the Northern Virginia, D.C. area. The band has had several line up changes throughout their history as a group and released two records “Stars Caught Fire” (2005) and “The Change In Frequency” (2007) under the name Cobbler (both available on itunes). The band was also chosen out of 200+ bands as a finalist in their local radio station DC101’s Last Band Standing competition two years in a row (2006,2007). They have played venues from The Knitting Factory in NYC to the 9:30 Club in D.C., RFK Stadium and The State Theatre in Virginia. In 2008 a new line up brought the remaining members to re-group and continue the music under the name of The War Within. With a reinvented classic rock sound and a lit up stage presence the band has been creating a buzz and has people asking “Have you seen The War Within live yet?” The War Within is preparing to release their first album JULY 31st at The State Theatre in Falls Church Virginia, so come and see what their live show is all about!!
